This policy explains what information Glory in the Beat collects through this website and through Glory in the Beat Radio, and how it’s used.
Radio listening data
When you listen to Glory in the Beat Radio, our streaming provider collects your general location — city and state — to help us understand where our listeners are tuning in from. We don’t collect or store your exact address or any other information that identifies you personally. This listenership data is not shared with third parties.
Contact form
If you use the contact form on this site, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide, solely to respond to you. It reaches our inbox through Web3Forms, the email-delivery service behind the form; beyond that, it isn’t shared with third parties or used for anything else.
Email updates
If you sign up for email updates on our Give page, or for Glorious Pursuit updates on the festival page, the email address you enter goes to Mailchimp, the email service we use. Festival sign-ups are labeled for festival news. We use your address only to send you the updates you signed up for, and every email has a link to unsubscribe. Mailchimp keeps it under its ownprivacy policy. If Mailchimp can’t be reached or doesn’t take a sign-up, or you sign up for festival news when you’re already on our list, your address also comes to our inbox through Web3Forms, as contact-form messages do, so we can add you ourselves. It isn’t shared with anyone else.
Volunteering
If you tick “Interested in volunteering?” when you sign up for Glorious Pursuit updates, the name, email address, and phone number you give, and anything you tell us about how you’d like to help, come to our inbox through Web3Forms, as contact-form messages do. We use them only to follow up with you about volunteering, and they aren’t shared with anyone else.
Donations and sponsorships
Gifts made on our Give page, and sponsorships on our Glorious Pursuit festival page, go through Zeffy, the platform built into those pages. Zeffy collects what you enter in its form, such as your name, email, and address, and processes your payment under its own privacy policy. It shares your contact details and your gift or sponsorship with us, so we can keep records of our support and stay in touch with you.
Cookies
This site doesn’t set its own tracking cookies. A few pages embed third-party content — our radio player, podcast videos, and donation and sponsorship forms — and those services may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies. Signing up for email updates contacts Mailchimp, which may do the same. We don’t control that.
